Opened on August 7 at The National Art Center, Tokyo, “Adventures in Memory” is the first major retrospective in Tokyo, showcasing a wide array of works by Keiichi Tanaami, including archival materials spanning more than 60 years of his creative journey. Tanaami became a leading figure in Japan’s underground art scene primarily on the strength of his work in magazines and advertisements.
