For its fourth XL exhibition, the Musée d’art et d’histoire de Genève invited Wim Delvoye to investigate the museum’s connection to its collections and institutions. For Delvoye, who specialises in the dialogue between the local and global, craft and high-tech, folklore and philosophy, the opportunity to delve into the museum collection becomes a fascinating engagement with what art is today. Through this exhibition, artist invites visitors to change relationships with the world through objects we neglect or view with contempt.
