Table Tennis has long been a source of entertainment and inspiration for Ron Arad, serving as both a design challenge and a recreational pursuit. His "New Ping Pong" (2008–2015) exemplifies his ability to rethink everyday objects through the perception of functional design.

Crafted from polished stainless steel with an artfully concave surface, the table is designed to slow down the game and extend rallies. It transforms the traditionally fast-paced nature of Ping Pong into a more deliberate, almost meditative experience.

Reflecting on his creative process, Arad remarked: "I could not help but wonder what else I could have done with this magical material. So I thought about doing something that would allow us to enjoy the material in a completely new and different way."
