Carroll Dunham | The Art Institute of Chicago

Carroll Dunham’s institutional solo exhibition Carroll Dunham: Drawings, 1974–2024 is presented at The Art Institute of Chicago.  Developed in close collaboration with the artist, the exhibition is the first museum presentation dedicated exclusively to Dunham’s drawings.

Spanning five decades, the exhibition brings together a wide selection of works, including many drawings shown to the public for the first time. It highlights the importance of drawing within Dunham’s practice and offers an in-depth look at the evolution of his visual language over time.
