Jeff Koons | Paintings and Banality: Selected Works from the Collection

February 20 – July 5, 2026 | Espace Louis Vuitton Osaka, Japan

The exhibition traces Koons’s artistic practice from his iconic series of the 1980s to his recent monumental paintings. The works on view reveal how the artist holds a mirror up to observers, reflecting what constitutes their identity—both individual and collective—while exploring universal concepts such as beauty and pleasure.

'Paintings and Banality' marks the tenth anniversary of Fondation Louis Vuitton’s Hors-les-murs program, which showcases the collection’s holdings at the Espaces Louis Vuitton in Tokyo, Munich, Venice, Beijing, Seoul, and Osaka, as well as the twentieth anniversary of Espaces Louis Vuitton.
