Wim Delvoye | Focus

This focus exhibition highlights the work of Wim Delvoye through key pieces from the collections of Mu.ZEE and the Flemish Community, and offers an additional perspective on the collection: from an iconic installation to playful publications and editions that reveal the versatility of Delvoye’s oeuvre.

 

Delvoye unites craftsmanship and industry in postmodern installations where present and past converge. His works are like emulsions, in which the individual components remain distinguishable even as they coalesce into a cross-cultural celebration. With a witty nod to the economic strategies of multinational corporations, Delvoye developed his own brand and merchandising.
