Albert Oehlen | Personal Exhibition at Friedrichs Foundation

Albert Oehlen has created an expansive all-over installation of 12 paintings, spanning the entirety of the Friedrichs Foundation’s exhibition hall.

Oehlen compresses and stretches, tugs and tears whatever is available as visual material. Artist accepts the shattering and transforms it into the basis of his painting, inventing an overtly fragmented image.
